m3ds real image issue

Hi, i an very new to this forum so if i sound dumb please dont take offence. firstly its the 1st time i have used a flash card on any console, i have a ds lite and have just bought a m3ds real adapter and also a 2 gic msd card i have followed all the instructions about loading the card up to get games including a format but every time i try to load the system files, it is coming up cannot copy g6dsload the path is to deep, also it apeares to freeze my pc, i have tried different versions of the firmware, and also i have tried 2 diffrent msd cards both 2 gig yet i still get the same problem, could anyone please explain where i mite be going wrong with this
