I downloaded Ghost in the Shell the PSP game, except it is a 7ZIp file that wont open so I figure it is made to run directly through the psp. Problem is, I have put it in both the ISO folder and PSP>Game folder and neither recognise it.

What do I do? :o

7z is like rar or zip.... just a different manner of compressing the file.

Use something like WinRAR, and you'll be able to crack it open to get at the chewy nougat EBOOT inside.

Yeah Im not a moron mate :)

I double click on it on a PC and it DOESN'T open...which is why I was wondering if it was specially designed to be decompressed on a PSP.

It don't open in your PC it is because you don't have a installed program which open such files. Without it obviously you wont decompress the game.

Just download 7Zip and install it on your PC and then decompress the file. Winrar also manages 7Zip files.

Install Winrar.

Right click 7z file. Click "Extract here"

Copy extracted file to your PSP.
