so i have a

silver slim daxter pack psp
normal jig kick battery
1 GB memory stick (pro duo)

my question is, i went from 1.50 to 4.05 to 5.02, then i downgraded to 3.71m33-2,

now Ive been told that its recommended to upgrade to another CFW because of safety reasons, (then downgrade again, if needed)

if i upgrade to 5.00m33-(whatever update) will there be any type of homebrew games/tools/apps , that will not work.

if i do upgrade (to 5.oo CFW,) i get everything i had before plus more,

if no what is there to lose (other than a chance of bricking my psp)

and theres not point in going to 1.50 right?

CFW is a mix of firmwares. (or am i wrong)
please help with this

-mitchell

(i know how to upgrade DIRECTLY TO cfw, its if i should do it or not...)
THANKS

First of all, you can't get 1.5 on a Slim :)

If you upgrade all apps / games will work as normal.

The reason we chose to update to latest custom firmwares is because
a) Security as you stated.
b) More features provided by DAX and Sony.

OK cool,

and I'm almost SURE that the Daxter ones (the old old old slims) run on a 2.70/2.71 to a 1.5, i not sure which box number/ model, or which is the version range.
but it doesn't really matter (because your better at this stuff, lol :) ) because I HAVE A M33 woo,

another thing is once i get to a higher firmware it should be able to download Dark Alex's CFW updates, though the network update on your PSP, (and the PSN, connects to the Dark Alex store, or some other store.)

merry christmas, and thanks for helping (REALLY I MEAN IT.. THANKS)

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
and
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
