OK, I am going to be hacking a brand new PSP-2000, and have the following files/items:

PSP-2000
PSP-1000 (hacked)
4GB Memory Stick
256MB Mem Stick
150 Eboot
"340.PBP"
"despertar7.rar"
Open Source Pandora Battery Tool 0.6.zip
"PSP_401_FW_UPDATE.rar"

will I need anything else, and how do I use these? I got them from a friend who is out of town for the holidays

use despartar8.rar instead of 7.

BTW, you'd also wanna hope you don't have the new motherboard...

OK, where can I get despertar 8? i got these files from a friend who is stuck with relatives in West Virginia, so I cant ask him. Also, I thought only the PSP-3000 had the new motherboards?

What firmware did your PSP come with?

If its 4.01 M33 you are looking for disaster.

my PSP has OFW 4.01, i take it that means I cannot use Pandora on it, amirite? I was very annoyed to find this out.....

I should Clarify my current thoughts.

Since my PSP-2001 shipped with Sony FW v4.01 (since updated) It has the new motherboard and is Pandora Proof. Is that correct?

correct... anything psp slim shipped with OFW 4.01 has the new mobo.

you can still check the psp to see wether it has a TA-088v3 mobo or not, just use D_A's TA-088v3 identifier app :)

hope that helps.

wait, if I already know it has the new Mobo, why should I check with this application? Is there another way to downgrade?

EDIT:
So....if my mobo is TA-088v2 it will work, but TA-088v3 will not? If my PSP cannot CREATE a pandora, can it still USE one made on another PSP? because I have a 2nd, already hacked PSP....this is all rather confusing.....

EDIT of the EDIT:
How can I use this PSPIdent to check Mobo version on a non CFW PSP, which my Slim is? it is a paradox, wherein I need to know Mobo version to install CFW, but cannot check Mobo version without already having CFW.

Just try your Pandora battery. Your psp won't brick if you have the new motherboard.
