Sorry, I'm sure this is a really newbish question. But I'm new to the scene.

I was wondering what the difference is between the M3 adaptor and the passkey?

the passkey is used in conjunction with the M3 to boot homebrew etc on the DS. I own an M3 myself and they come highly reccomended
