Hey all,
Finally got around to soft modding my ps2 so that I can play backups off of my new 160 gb USB WD hard drive!

Of course, I just found out (by converting 6ish games for USB Extreme) that the compatibility rate of USB Advance (and ultimately USB Extreme) only lets me play one of my 6 backed up games...

...not happy at all...ESPECIALLY rockband and my custom songs.

Does anyone know of a USB to IDE converter that I could use with HDCombo so that I don't have to buy a new hard drive? Seeing as how it was just christmas, i wouldn't mind buying a new one, but I'd like to not...

Also, is HD Combo still being made? Their site doesn't say anything about making it, much less actually online anymore.

And isn't there something like an HD Kit, that is external and doesn't require any soldering?

(haha, actually found a link!)

Sorry for the mosh of questions, but I'm really itching to get something besides USB Advance working.

Specs:
PSTwo Slim (hmmf...idk what exact model it is. got it right when they came out with the slims...)
Running Free MCBoot with no modchips
Currently using USB Advance with uLaunchELF

Any thoughts? Thanks a lot guys!

EDIT:
I also found HD Connect --> http://www.teamxtender.com/catalog/catalog.php?productID=158
Can anyone tell me on how the compatibility is with this?
How difficult it is to install?
And where could I buy this thing?
I'm a somewhat decent solderer at best, my dad could probably help me out if it came to that, but this is a nice external answer...
Although I'll take anything at this point like that.

Again, sorry for the slew of questions, but I really would appreciate answers!
