and I've gotten Firefox, wireless, and rhythmbox to work but

ummm Emulator help? How do I install emulators? I ran into a couple of guides last night but I seem to be having trouble downloading RPMS. I keep getting a weird error everytime I go to the www.tinyurl.com webpage.

Assistance?

I pretty much just want to install the XE multi-system emulator. That is all.

I just need a quick guide or link to a youtube vid of how to install that properly and im good.

Thanks,

Yourstill

You need to add some repos to yum so that you don't have to mess with the rpms directly. You can just use yumex (the GUI interface to yum) to install apps with a click of the mouse.

You need to look at articles that show how to add repos to YDL, like this one:

http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Enable-Video-Playback-in-Yellow-Dog-Linux-6-1-101664.shtml

While it's mostly adding the repos so that you can install VLC and misc codecs, it's just as good for people wanting to install emulators as well.
