Hi,

I have got a 1.50 PSP and am happily homebrewing. I was looking into trying to get an internet browser (either the cutdown Wipeout, or a homebrew one) but while I was trying to get PSPRadio working I realised that at the moment I can't use either, this is because my router has a WPA-PSK encryption and the PSP doesn't have that option. Only if I upgrade to 2.60 will I have the option to put the encryption key in. Is there anyway in which I can get a tool that will set the WLAN up to allow my PSP to connect, while still having the security.

I have a Belkin Router. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Go into your router settings and set the protection to WEP (it should support it)

However, this does mean you have to reconfigure all your other wireless devices that use that router and your network is less secure.

Are there no software fixes yet, or would this be something I should keep a watch out for on the custom firmwares as soon as they've cracked it.

Well, you either change the router settings for protection or you upgrade your PSP.
Those are your only two choices at the moment each with their own trade off.
