Hi,

I always thought that the number 1 emulator was MAME.

How come there has been no new MAME releases for the PSP in months? I tried the different versions available, and they are all pretty crap, unpolished and unoptimized.

They seen to have problems running even simple games well e.g. Starforce (released in 1984 I believe).

Is anyone working on this?

Denis.

Yea, it's weird. It's like there was this big rush to get out emulators at the start of 2005, and then nothing.....

The GP2X already has a decent MAME emulator:

Why not the PSP ?

The GP2X version was a straight port from the GP32 version plus some extras. That's why the GP2X has it so early. It is also based on the 0.34 version.
