help for a newbie

ok i have psp v 1.5 and recieved colin mcrae rally 2005 plus on umd, when i went to play i got a message saying v 1.52 is needed. if i upgrade to v1.52 will i be able to get back to v 1.5 or will i risk bricking my pride and joy? thanks for any help in advance.

older games like this should be able to be fooled by the version changer utility available from sonyxteam.com New games like GTA:LCS can not be fooled by the version changer. There for they require you to upgrade to the required operating systems. Note if you upgrade past 2.0 you can not downgrade again.
