Got PSP Phat, Firmware version 3.93 all original.
I'm trying to set it up to run ISO games from 8 MB memory card.

Read around & tried.......

Downloaded 401 M33 & 410 .PBP, followed instructions, get Error 80020148.

Downloaded 500M33_6 & 500 .PBP, followed instructions, get Error 80020148.

Dunno what I'm doing wrong, noob here.
1st time using a Forum. Took about 1 hour to find out about threads & how to start it.

Any help gladly recieved.

OKay.... first off...since you are using the "Official"/crap firmwares....you need to downgrade.....and since you are above official firmware 2.71(I believe that was the last free one with the TIFF exploit amirite?) you are going to need to spend some cash for a pandora battery(A SUPERBATTER that makes your psp downgrade) as well as loading some files on your memory stick, UNLESS you can find someone else to do it for you.
PROTIP: CHECK COMPSCI CLUB

Yes, you have official sony firmware. You need to downgrade it using a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick.
