Hello everyone. I was looking for information on the edgecard and R4card online when I ran into this website. I was just wondering if anyone can clarify these two options. Which one would be more "newbie" friendly? And my understanding is that I would be able to download games and play them using this technology. Is this true? Any input would be appreciated.

Well that doesn't really help me. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two?

1. Please read the forum rules before you post. We cannot discuss DS piracy here.

2. For the love of God do NOT get an R4 or any of its clones. The R4 used to be great, yes, but it is currently the worst cart out there that's still available. Look into other options like the CycloDS Evolution or Acekard 2.

I woul suggest you getting an Acekard instead of R4 or EDGE.It has the best GUI and is quite cheap.
