PSPGenesis v18 problems

I have PSPGenesis latest version i am running custom firmware 5.00 m33-6

I can run PSPGenesis and roms but the problem is it lags up because of frameskip i tried Sonic 1 2 3 on all frameskip settings 1 2 3 4 5 and auto i tried turning of v sync and 50hz in different combinations i also tried setting the MHZ speed to all speed 222, 266, 300, 333
still no help

What can i do?:(

Forget PSPGenesis. It is too old and slow. For a long time it did not received updates.
Try the latest versions of Picodrive. It is by far the better Genesis emulator for PSP.

PSPGenesis is out dated by 2 years i suggest screw PSPG,and head for a better emulator.
