Convert a video file to another that has the MP4 extension and name it M4VXXXXX.MP4 (replace the X's with any numbers; the numbers set the order of the video icons, so name the first video M4V00001.MP4). Go to your Memory Stick. Create a folder called MP_ROOT outside of your PSP folder (don't put MP_ROOT inside the PSP folder). Browse into the MP_ROOT folder and create a folder in there called 100MNV01. Place your videos in that folder. You can also create your own thumbnails for the videos by creating a 160x120 px JPG file and renaming it with the name of the video and the extension .THM (so if your video was M4V00056.MP4, you would name the thumbnail you created M4V00056.THM and put it into the same folder as your video. Your Explorer may hide known extensions which will prevent you from changing the extension from JPG to THM, so you will have to figure out how to do this (I am tired and don't feel like writing anymore.)
