{---Convert TTF Fonts to PGF Fonts---}
*credits to SolidSnake44x and Simon (Rith)*

How would you like to convert your windows fonts to psp fonts?
Now you can, just download the attachment at the bottom of the post.

1. Download and unzip the ttf2pgf2-bin program.

2. Put the unzipped folder in the root of your C drive.

3. Run command prompt and type in: "cd c:\ttf2pgf2-bin" (without quotes)
(Or where ever you unzipped it)

4. Press enter and type (may vary depending on where the files are located): [no quotes]

"ttf2pgf c:\windows\fonts\fontname.ttf c:\ttf2pgf2-bin\pspfont.pgf XX"
^path of source font^ ^destination^ ^font size
Make sure the size isn't too big or too small. 18-21 is fine.

5. If you did it right you should have a pgf file in the directory of the program you downloaded.

6. Rename the custom font to "ltn0.pgf"

7. Go to the flash0 drive of your psp and replace that file (in the font folder) with your custom font.

Be sure to back up flash0 before hand.

{---VisualPlayers---}
*credits to Zonic100*

~A visual player is the animation that plays while listening to your music from the xmb menu and multiple ones
can be selected.~

~ Visual Players ~

http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2321

**Please note that the visual players on this website have been originally made for 3.20-3.40 OE but actually

work perfectly on 3.80 m33 and most likely on 3.90, even the extra effects added in 3.80 remain the same, so

only what you see on the download is what changes.**

~Once you choose a player and download it is reccommended you backup your flash0. (As if you haven't already.)

1. Turn on your PSP and press select on the xmb to access the vsh menu, change your usb device to flash0 and connect your PSP to your computer through usb connection.

2. Go ahead and open up the vsh folder and then open resource.

3. Now take the downloaded player of your choice and make sure the player is named visualizer_plugin.prx

4. Paste the visual player in the resource folder and overwrite the file.

5. Go ahead and backout of usb connection and change your usb device back to your memory stick.

6. Open up your music and select a song and visualizer.

7. ENJOY!

Note that the icon for the sketch visualizer will dissapear since these visualizers were designed for 3.303.40 OE

but it still works fine. On the mentioned link above there is another link to hacking the plugin to change the hex

values of the plugin to create your own visualizers if you so choose, but don't ask about it here or ask about

PRX files on that website as they won't give them to you and I know nothing of hex editing besides finding

values and changing them.

{---XMB Waves over Background--}
*credits to Firestyl3*

~Having an XMB wave over Background is pretty much what the name says. You can have a Wave over a Background~

Heres a screenshot I took a while ago, its an example of having a wave over a background

~*What youll need to have a Wave over a background*~

A Wave and a background! I didnt provide a pack because is it so hard to find a background and an XMB wave? Just download the 176 XMB waves pack provided in this tutorial and download a background off of Google Image Search.

I HIGHLY Recommend you only do this if you have experience with flashing. This can and will brick your PSP if something screws up. Its happened to me 2 times already. DO NOT I REPEAT DO not do this if you dont know what your doing. If this is your first flashing experience then do something like flashing a Gameboot. The XMB over Background technique is unstable and it can mess up your PSP if you do something wrong

1.Download an XMB wave and Background

2.Rename the XMB wave to system_plugin_bg.rco

3.Rename the Background to 01-12.bmp

4.Now go to your PSP and go to Settings then go down to Theme Settings

5.Press X on Theme and set it as original so the icons are the normal SONY ones

6.Press Select to enter the VSH Menu and change the USB Device to Flash0

7.Hook up your PSP to your Computer and enable USB Mode

8.A window should pop up with folders like VSH,font and dic

9.Now if your on 3.71 m33 youll see two more folders called Data and Kd
If your on 3.80 m33 and higher you probably wont see those 2 folders

10.If you dont see all 5 folders in the Flash0 then go to Tools>Folder Options>Click on the View Tab>Underneath Hidden Files and Folders click on "Show Hidden Files and Folders" then click OK. You should see the two folders Data and KD pop up as two "see through" folders.
**Note once your done flashing in the Flash0 then check "Do not Show Hidden Files or Folders" or youll start seeing files like thumbs.db in a few folders.**
11.Once you see all 5 folders--VSH,Font,Dic,Data and KD then copy them all and paste them into your Desktop

12.Now go back to the System_plugin_bg.rco and 01-12.bmp you renamed earlier and drag them into VSH>Resource

13.It should ask you if you want overwrite the files, you should press yes

14.Now disable USB Mode and press select

15.Change the USB Device back to Memory Stick and then press X on Reset Device

16.You should see your custom XMB wave over your background but youll notice some icons wont show up
**Note if your XMB wave only shows up and no icons then take out your battery. Then reinsert it, and Turn on your PSP while holding R then go to Advanced then Format Flash1 and Reset settings.**
17.Now if some icons arent showing up then go to Theme settings and apply any PTF theme

18.Then change the background to original and the color to your background

19. **Ta-Da!! You now have an XMB wave over a background!!**

Ahh, but creating your own custom Waves... how do you do this? And Making your own XMB locations?
Can't really be the MASTER TUTORIAL OF CUSTOMIZATION without explaining how to do that, am I right?
