Does anyone know the minimum CFW that supports the 16 gb memory sticks? I'm currently using 3.71 M33-4, which works perfectly with all my homebrew applications, so I would rather not upgrade my fw and risk losing functionality in the process.

5.00 M33 is easy to upgrade to, Very minimal risk these days, unless you accidently power the PSP off when you are upgrading (which is recoverable via recovery mode or pandora battery).

I do recommend updating and yes 5.00 M33 Supports 16GB memory sticks as does 4.00 M33.

Just update to the newest CFW and run LEDA (http://dark-alex.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=9153)

There is no need for LEDA on PSP 1000. Use the 1.50 addon instead.

i´ve owned a 16gb for about 5 months now, first got it just before the release of 4.01M33

nowadays your firmware shouldnt be a concern regarding MS compatability.

i also recommend updating, 3.80 and 3.90 have the most compatability with iRshell, without sacrificing too much XMB customization due to sony´s changes, but overall.. what you want is 5.00m33 ;)
