The Lord of the Rings: Conquest gets $10 worth of heroes and maps with Pandemic Studios' release of the aptly titled Heroes & Maps Pack, now available via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest might not have gotten the best critical reception, but Pandemic isn't letting that stop them from delivering more heroes of lore and arenas of war to their Middle-earth epic battle simulator. Available today, the Heroes & Maps Pack adds three additional heroes, two new multiplayer maps, and two hero arenas for use with the previously released Hero Arena content pack.
$9.99 or 800 Microsoft points gets you Gothmog, Boromir, and Arwen as playable hero characters, the lava fields of the Battle of the Last Alliance and the forests of Amon Hen multiplayer maps, and arenas in the form of Minas Tirith and Weathertop. Whether or not that's worth $10 of your precious, precious monies is completely up to you.
