So.. I was thiking of getting a DS but i have a few questions regarding homebrew; Is there any Ds that does NOT suport homebrew through flash carts? Is there anything i should know about? Like bricking for instance.
About the flash carts, i was completely lost about all the different models but I'm getting the hang of it now, out of these which would u guys recommend? CycloDS,AceKard,M3/R4?

I was thinking of buying the flashcarts from this site link (http://www.ndx-systems.com/shop/nds-flash-carts), does anyone know it, is it reliable? And last, any site where i could get a ds for cheap? cheapest i found is £99 but they don't have the white one that i wanted =(

Tnx in advance.

Anything with the name "R4" in it is to be avoided at all costs. The original ones are outdated, the "new" ones are all fakes or clones and are not guaranteed to work. It's not worth the hassle.

All DSs will work with any slot-1 homebrew device, though if you want to use it on a DSi you'll need to make sure you get one that's specifically compatible with it. As for the choices, your main options are going to be the CycloDS Evolution on the high end, with cheaper alternatives being the Acekard 2, Supercard DS, and EDGE. You can look up some reviews on places like GBATemp to help you decide between them. Features you may want to compare include Real Time Saving, cheat support, in-game text viewer, and the amount of support given to each card.

I've never heard of that store before, but I've only really looked at more US-based shops. DealExtreme is one place you may want to check out, as they've got cheap prices and free global shipping, though it does take forever for them to ship (my own order that I placed on the 15th just now finally got into the mail, so it's another 2 weeks of waiting for me).

I believe only the CycloDS Evolution and Supercard DS have that feature.
