gba gc link

hi. So, I've never had a gba, using my ds to play gba games. unfortunately this means that I can't do the gba to gamecube link. does any body know if this is possible on wii via emulators or homebrew, and the same for gbc to n64. If it was possible it would make the console pokemon games rock!
