Sorry, but we don't support piracy here.
We're a homebrew community. ;)

But, anywho, all PSPs are hackable up to TA-088v2 (or PSP-2000s manufactured up until around July 2008).

like Eviltaco64 said...we dont support piracy/warez.

however to answer your question... youll probably want a slim ( PSP-2000 ) or if worst case a phat ( PSP-1000 )

the 3000 is basically the same as the 2000 except that the 3000 has a built in mic and a "supposedly" better screen. however the 3000 is not hackable ( yet ).

if you go for a PSP-2000 youll want to look for older model ones ( these would be the ones that came out at launch... i think the GoW PSP is the last ones they had that did not have a TA-088v3 mobo in it ). If you go for a PSP-1000 all motherboard revisions are pandorable however you lack extras that could benefit from the extra hardware ( NDCPSP, DaedalusX64 is supposedly making use of the extra hardware, quake ports and of the such ).

i hope that answers your question. :)

Well, if you're ordering online, chances are that it's unhackable.

If you were to buy a used one, check the firmware. If it's under 3.90, then you should be alright.

Is their anyway to tell if it's hackable from looking at the box because a store near me has the original psp slim core system in the clear packaging where you can see the psp not the later packaging that had a pic of the psp on it.Will this one be hackable or should i take a closer look at it to find out

well in wise of old ones... there are 2 that i know are 100% to work

that being the silver 2000 ( daxter pack ) and the white 2000 ( darth vader is on the back of that unit... also known as the star wars psp ;) )

if you can find those 2 its pretty much guarenteed to be a TA-085v1 and no higher than a TA-088v2 ( i believe they didnt even care the TA-088 series on those model psp's yet )

thats about your best bet :/

The 1000 with a keyboard...but can't hook to a tv to watch your umd movies (big whoop) - I keep a dark alex 1000 with psp-pda and pikey (remapped the keys to fit my needs) and a 3000 unhackable because it shows both movies or games on a regular tv (doesn't need progressive like the 2000)...i mean get a used one of each at eb games they are dirt cheap!!!
