Every time I try to load a game, it pops up an error underneath the "loading ROM" box and then crashes. here is what I did:

Downloaded Brown Ale from Fanjita's website and installed it.

Then I installed snes9xTYL-0.2c to the appropriate folder (I know this because it loads once I click on it from the ELoader).

I put the ROMs in the snesx folder like the readme said to.

Once the loader comes up and I click agree and everything, I select a game (I have tried 3 or 4 different games now. Common ones like Zelda or Mario World). The "Loading ROM" box comes up, and then the error.

I am using frimware verson 2.6

Any advice??

Thanks in advance

While waiting for a response I dug a little bit further through the boards. It seems like some people are running their ROMs from .zip format? All of my snes roms are in .smf, .smc, or .fig format.

Do I need to take my ROMs and zip each one to make it work?

I would recommend zipping each one anyway as it would save you space on your memory card.

But I can't help you with any problems getting them to work because I use firmware version 2
