Homebrew Frustration: Mvspsp/cps2psp

I'm running version 2.0.6 on my PHAT PSP but they can't display the in game settings menu. Basically I cannot save,change screen size, etc. etc. I've tried to èress START + SELECT simultaneusly but nothing happens.

So I decided to go for the latest release of the software.
Does anybody know a quick way to rebuild the cache files??

i know it is ltrigger and rtrigger together not select start , but i do remember a glitch were you had to hit the home button after then select no then bamb you are in the MENU
