Ok, so i bought my friends PSP for $50 a while back and never played it. I figure getting CFW and emulators on there will bring some life back into it.

It is a 1000 i am guessing, it does have the TA-082 mobo. I have not updated the firmware so it is at 2.60. Is it possible to get CFW on it? The only topics i could find were from like 2006 saying it was not possible because of the TA-082 mobo.

I do not have any friends that own a PSP with CFW so I have no way of getting a MMS or a pandora battery.

well i think you could use a load of different hacks to get to the latest CFW. Tiff, GTA, Lumines. Tiff is probaly best as you dont need a game for it, just an image. You then need to downgrade to 1.5 so you can then upgrade to the latest CFW.

You'll need to upgrade to 2.80 by the looks of it. Read the 2.80 section, where there is a link to the update. Hope that helps.
