shop channel doesnt work

i updated my shopo channel using the shop channel updater and now when i try to use it it reboots to the wii channel menu.

also is there any other way to get the stuff from the current wii update without killing my firmware?

Supposedly, existing installations of HBC and DVDX are not removed by going to 4.0. All the update actively destroys is IOS16 and a handful of other IOS holes that don't do much except enable pirates.

Use the upgrader by Waninkoko, it keeps the HBC and allows the Shop Channel. And then when you downgrade, the shop is still open. :)
