I was thinking, would brown ale & Gta still operate with 3.0? I mean how can a firmware alter how one game loads its saved game files? I think sonys only way around this is a patched gta, meaning us who got GTA early could have homebrew for quite a while. Im no expert, so whats your thoughts people?

No, it will not work off the bat. Once someone finds an exploit for 3.0 then it will work. For example, the eLoader works a different way on 2.6 than say 2.0. Same for 1.5. Try to run the eLoader on 1.5. It freezes, because it is not programed for 1.5. The same will happen for 3.0.

You can expect that Sony will go out of their way to make it difficult for us to use the GTA exploit on v3.0.

Having said that, I doubt that they can make it impossible - it just may take some time before homebrew on v3.0 catches up to the same level.

Just wait over time the eloader will work on 3.o That is probally not hacker first priority getting umds on 2.6 is more important or downgrading from 2.6 to 2.0
