Hi everyone! I'm new to the DCEmu forums and equally as new to GameCube development/homebrew. I've been reading up on what options are available for doing homebrew on the 'Cube and my search has led me to acquire Datel's SD Media Launcher and a Broadband Adapter. Now I guess I'm looking for instruction as to how I put it all together.

As I understand it, I can compile a .dol file, put it onto the SD card, and run it via the SD Media Launcher. However since I know there will be a lot of trial and error in the beginning -- being new to GameCube programming in general -- having to copy a .dol file to the SD card every time I want to test a build seems like a pain. This is why I decided to track down a BBA thinking maybe it'd give me a more efficient debugging method.

So I guess my question is can anyone instruct me on how I can send a .dol file to my GameCube via the BBA with the items at my disposal? :)

I'm also new to the Gamecube and I've got two of them now and a BBA. From what I've read so far the BBA methods of streaming DOL's will likely take longer than copying the file to SD card and be less convenient. Maybe someone else will chime in but the only method I know requires you to boot into Phantasy Star I&II. There may be an easier way.

i think the best way to stream .dol files to gamecube is with a USB Gecko and Gecko OS. i'm afraid you'll need to buy a USB Gecko though.
