I just hacked my Wii today using the BannerBomb method and I've had nothing but problems:(, I can't get hardly any homebrew to run. At this point I can't run VBAGX 2.0.1, FCE Ultra GX 3.0.2, Guitarfun 2.8, and an unknown version of RIN. The things I CAN run are Hackmii installer beta 1, the homebrew channel 1.0.1 install, and MPlayer.
For the stuff I can't run I've tried the following boot methods: Homebrew Channel 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, loading thru BannerBomb, and using BannerBomb to load loadMii 0.3.
Also, Homebrew Channel 1.0.2 refuses to load at all, it just sends me back to the Wii menu:confused:.

Nvm, problem solved! I installed DVDX along with HBC and BootMii, after uninstalling DVDX everything started working again :D
