Hi all,

I have Games n Music by Datel but some reason i am unable to patch any of the homebrew aps with the DLDI file

If someone could make me a patch version of DSOrganizer it would really help

Theses links may be useful if you can do this for me:

Does DSOrganize not come with a DSOrganize-gnm.nds file that is pre patched?

Yes, DSO comes with a file named DSOrganize-gnm.nds. which is what you use.

I've attached DSOrganize 3.1129 with "custom" icons. Trust me don't use 3.2. Just extract the DSOrganize folder to the root of your card and place the .nds file anywhere.

I have some more GnM advise, do yourself a favor and grab a PNY 2GB microSD card. I found one for 16 bucks at BestBuy but you can get one easily online.

The PNY 2GB is the only 2GB card that I've found that allows you to use Game N' Music DLDI v2 (Gmtf2.dldi). This is the DLDI with a slightly faster read time. You can use version 2 with the 128MB card that came with the GnM but every other 1GB or 2GB card seems to only work with version 1.

Furthermore the PNY card isn't plagued with the frequent corruption of other 2GB cards.

One last piece of advice is download and figure out Moonshell 2.01 stable. Once you understand how to get it working, rename the moonshl2.nds to bootme.nds and kiss that crappy Datel GUI goodbye.

Another perk of Moonshell2 is that jenesisDS.nds works fine when executed from it. It doesn't boot straight from GnM gui.

I find the GnM, once figured out and using these ideas above, to be just as good or even better as any other card when it comes to homebrew (obviously it can't run commercial roms)
