Hi,
I am a bit confused about how to burn a dc slideshow disk. The slideshow.iso file contains a readme that reads as follows:

INSTALLATION

This distribution contains the sourcecode and some precompiled files. To
just use the software, you should be familiar with burning CDs for your
Dreamcast. The files you need to use are IP.BIN in the root directory,
and 1st_read.bin in the scrambled/ directory. Follow the usual steps for
creating an image to be burned. When making the ISO filesystem, put the
1st_read.bin in the root. Then put your JPEG files either in the root
directory, or in any directory structure from there.

Keep the filenames short (8 letters). Every JPEG file must end with
".JPG" or ".jpg". Also, the internal font of the program does not have
all special characters. Punctuation and other characters will appear as
spaces.

Burn the disc and you should be good to go!

Do I just use powerISO to put the pictures I want into the iso and burn?

I thought I got it from there, but I have an iso rather than a cdi.
