Hello, I am currently running firmware 3.71 M33-3 on my psp. I would like to downgrade to 1.5. Any advice? I havnt been looking into the whole homebrew for psp in a while, so has anyone any advice on what sort of custom firmware I should be using at the moment?

well i would personally not recomend going back to 1.5 (if thats even possible for you seeing as how only phat psp's can support it) very few homebrews are released that are for that firmware version, and you would have to patch it quite a bit to be able to play newer psp games.

The firmware i personally use is: 3.9 m33-3 it seems to be the best for psx emulation, at least from what i found.

So i just updated my FW to 5.00 m33 - 6 because that new game unbound saga requires it, im going to try pops on this version, and see how it plays all of my psx games...

Im assuming that any games that come out from here on will have some sort of FW requirement or have something planted in them a la rock band un-plugged....

Whatever you do, DO NOT upgrade to 5.50 GEN, buggier than my back yard. Try 5.00 M33-6 and then add the 1.5 kernel addon to play all the 1.5 homebrew.
