hi. im using firmware 2.6 and the latest version of the gta eboot loader. i tried mph's firmware launcher (MPHFL_137u5u1) and it worked! i only got to the menu of it because i dont know were to put the 1.5 firmware eboot so that mph firmware launcher reconises it. can someone who knows about the mph firmware launcher try it and se if they can run 1.5 firmware on 2.6? thanks

create a folder in psp/game called MPHFL. put the eboot in that folder

I don't think it lets you boot lower firmwares only higher.

would it let you load v2.0 firmware though? because then you could use the 2.0 - 1.5 downgrader. and bam. easier homebrew!

As i said before i think it only lets you boot higher firmwares than your own OR that you have to have 1.5 to boot a firmware. These are just my thoughts and could very well be wrong so go for it i'm kinda curious to see what happens.

I asked Fanj about this a while back and it freezes when launching the firmware because it requires kernal mode.

It seems like fanjita should be concentrating on how to run kernal mode applications on the eboot loader... hopefully next release, he will. I can only keep my fingers crossed
