I've had the TTDS for a while now but I'm trying to find a way to play GBA roms on my DS as well. I'm almost certain that the best option is to get the EZFlash expansion but I just wanted some feedback before I spend the $18 on it. Is there anything I need to know beforehand? I'm expecting the TTDS to just be able to read the data stored on the expansion, but I'm really not sure how they are supposed work in tandem. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks.

You use a program called GBA ExpLoader to load a GBA homebrew file from your slot-1 microSD card to the 3in1's built-in memory, then launch it. Save management is done by GBA ExpLoader as well.

The 3in1 also contains extra RAM which certain homebrew applications can use for improved performance.
