Will my psp pass it warranty

i was drinkin with my frieds in my house am my frieds spille a glass of vodka and coke on my table which also my psp was on i dried it off and it seemed to be ok but my memory stick wasnt workin so i took it out to dry off so this morning i tryed it and it seemed fine but later it will not turn on :eek:
bcos its imported sony wont honour the warranty but the shop i bought it from said they do im jus wondering will they know i spilt something on it not much was on it it was jus really my memory stick part tht was wet

have you checked the battery maybe it dont have power

yes ive even borrowed my friends psp with his battery but no luck

Well put it this way It couldn't hurt to just try to send it in to SONY and see what happens. And if the firmware is above 2.1+ then just trade it back to the store and see if you can get one that has 2.00 at highest. Sorry if this information does not help.

heh thats what happend to mine i spilt windex on it
but mine worked aT the begginging but the light was orange instead of green!
then it wouldnt turn on so i left it sitting there for a few days and when i when to bring it back it turned on a was working fine. for a few weeks the light was stilll orange instead of green but now its all better

yea just wait for all the moisture to dry before jumping to conclusions
