Hi, I recently bought a Supercard SD, Superpass2, and a 1 GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash card for my Nintendo DS. I was reading instructions on how to download music, movies, and Homebrew on to my 1 GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash card. On, the instructions it said that before I begin, I have to convert my 1 GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash card from "FAT32" to "FAT". Can anyone please tell me how to convert my SD flash card from "FAT32" to "FAT"?

Thanks! :)

Usually the 1GB cards come as FAT standard. I have one made by Corsair that I bought a MicroCenterfor $35 (after $20 rebate). If you really need to convert it, the operation depends on your OS. It takes Windblows 98SE and better to recognize FAT32. I believe Windblows 2000 and XP will reformat by default to FAT32 even if it doesn't need it (only 2GB plus need FAT32). Linux and MacOSX are rather friendly in this regard and give you choices.

My advice is to surf the web for a freeware utility if you actually need it.
