i need help with chankast

I have chankast and I have Vigilante 8 the game in the original cd of dreamcast and i want to play it in my computer with chankast. What I am suppossed to do?

Your PC can't read original GD-Roms. Only CDI images are supported.

in other words, you have to download dreamcast games from rom sites. it isnt possible to use an original dreamcast cd with your pc, like you can with playstation discs.

Well if you have a serial cable you can rip them and unfortunetly if i talk anymore about i will be going into warez discussion so i cant explain. But yes you need CDI images and not all homebrew works on the emulator. I recommend buying the system if you dont have one it plays better not all commercial games work great on the emulator and i'm not saying this emulator is 100% perfect. Its not anywhere even close to being done like PSone emulators.
