Hi everyone. I have a 2.01psp and i got exit. Is it worth upgrading to 2.5 to play it?

i use homebrew lots and heard that theres less compatability in 2.5 and some h/b runs slower.

what do you all think? Thanks in advance

yea, go ahead and upgrade. You're already screwed out of ever being able to downgrade to v1.50. If you really want homebrew quick and easy, go to eBay or some other auction site and get either a new or used v1.50 black or white PSP. I got my White 1.50 for $430.00 USD. A shame, but I had to have the PSP in ceramic white. It's beautiful! But I found them for cheaper once I got mine (of course) you can get one now for around 300.00 USD

well the lower your firmware the highter the percentage of u downgrading. sooner or later there will be a downgrade for 2.01, patience will guide you.

yeah, that's what i was thinking too elsid. Allthat is different in 2.01 is that the .tif exploit is patched whereas it's completely different in 2.50. i might as well wait, i've waited this long.

My mate has a 2.50 so might as well borrow to play exit.... thanks for your responses everyone.
