Before it hits store shelves, though, we decided to have a quick chat with producer Tim Ginn on what players can expect from the PSP version of the upcoming title.

IGN: So give us a brief rundown on 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Tim: 2006 FIFA World Cup on PSP is the perfect portable way to take part in the World Cup in Germany this year. It features completely authentic teams from 127 nations around the world and all of the pageantry and excitement of the real-world tournament. The game offers full commentary, all 12 official stadiums that will be used in Germany, fans chanting and waving flags in support of their favorite teams, authentic kits and players and World Cup specific unlockables. In terms of gameplay, you can play right through qualification to the World Cup final. We are also offering a hard core gameplay mode in the form of Global Challenge where gamers can really test themselves in terms of their soccer gaming ability.
