i was wondering if someone may be able to help me. I just pulled my DC out of storage and when i went to turn it in with a game inside. the system booted up and wanted the current date set. only my controllers aren't seeming to work. i plug the controller in and i can't toggle over back out of it or anything. even the VMU won't even been detecting it has power going to it. I've got three different one's that i've tried. So i was wondering if there was something simple I could do to fix this problem

i followed the directions on the video and unless i'm not twisting the two resistors just right i'm still not getting anything.

ok i did manage to get it to work just had to twist them a little more than i had this morning.

The twist didn't work with my dreamcast.

I scrapped it, its now a parts machine, like my other 3.

I've never had a problem with any of my Dreamcast units, though I quite often get nothing... But a quick power-off and then back on fixes it for me, after removing re-inserting the controller.

Guess I'm just lucky. :cool:
