Help with downloading games

I have been trying to download games but having problems doing it


My psp lite sstem sofware is 3.93.

As far as i have read you need to download the file gen 5.50 software

I hae done this an have put it onto my memory stic when i go to run the software it

comes up with psp screen the it comes up with the following message

The game could not be started
(80020148)

What am i dong wrong

Can someone please help me
