Hello people. I am mainly a DC guy and i know about emu's for the DC and all that. How ever I dont Know much about I Pod Linux (I hope I've spelled that correctly) with DC, their cheap so it wouldn't cause me as much stress if broke, how ever the i pod cost me $400. Any ways I want emu on my ipod. i know you need this ipod linux, but i dont know if it is safe. The ipod is an expensive investment for a 15year old. also would i need to erease the whole thing to install linux, and would i still be able to view video (i have the G5 ipod video), and finally would it affect the battery life and or charge time. I know it is a big list of question, but i wish to be informed before i attempt destroy or possible unlock the potential of my ipod.

thanks :)

Its safe
You can recover your ipod if the installation fails pretty easily.
You, in most cases, will need to erase it, but hey, all you have to do is plug it in and let itunes recopy the songs.
No, no battery life, or charge time is affected.
