Hi guys! Being fairy handy with my hands (!) I have been asked to have a look at a friends' DS which has been dropped, and is now dead (both screens), but does have an orange light when the charger is attached. It has a rattle when shaken (sounds like a tiny screw), so I guess something is loose...
Attempting to locate the special tool online for the screws, I note that screens are often available (eBay) with the screwdriver. I take it that they are vunerable? Is it likely both screens have failed? Should the device make any sound when turned on?
Sorry i'm not much of a gamer, but just thought I would ask if any common issues are apparent when the device is dropped!!
