Alien vs Predator on DC

Hey all

I just read on another forum that Aliens vs Predator (the old PC game) might be possible to port onto Dreamcast. Is this true and if so is anyone in the process of doing it (or know of anyone who is)?

I would pay good money to have this on DC as it's in my top 3 games ever (I'm a big Alien and Predator fan)

Any help is appreciated.....

that would be great if you could do something with it. To play as a marine or a predator would be awesome!! (not to bothered about alien in that game)

back in"the day" Japanese dc coder legend Bero had AvP on his to do list.... but he just never did... shame

Also he used a weird dev environment that others have not been able to reproduce thus making his sources useless (so I have been told, i ain't no coder)

BUMMER!! Seems I'm a few years behind on the DC scene.

I've posted about doing this on another DC forum and someone has offered to convert the OpenAL sound.

Really want this conversion to happen, anybody fancy having a go at it?

Well, when I get OpenAL going, the rest shouldn't be too much work (I hope). So I'll be giving it a go.

JLF65, you are always surprising me :) If you can port OpenAL, please post it because others ports could be done ^^.

By the way, how is going that Doom over BBA? If you need someone to do some tests, just drop a message :)
