VMUTools problem

Anytime I try to write something to a VMU with the VMUTools disc, it locks up with some text that I think says "Do you want to exit the hex editor yes/no?", but I can't read it all because it's displayed over the top of some other status text at the bottom of the screen.

Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
