snes emulator help

Whenever I play a rom with my snes emulator, the game runs fine but the sounds and the music are very slow. Does anyone know a way to fix this or a better emulator I should be using? I am using snes9xTYL v0.2.

Yeah upgrade to Snes9x TYL 4.2. If you are already there go to the sounds menu and lower the frequency to 22 or 11.

i use [ snes ou ] its easy to use and was my first ever homebrew the sound and music are great and its fast too!
