Passkey V2 question?

I've read that with the newer DS systems you have to program the passkey with a code for what game you are playing. Does this mean the game you hook to the passkey or the game that you are trying to load from an M3 adapter?

if you haven't already got a passkey get the datel max media launcher, it doesn't stick out and doesn't require any programming at all and works on all ds's and ds lites.

thanks, I am planning on getting a DS lite when they come out in the US and was trying to research them. I hadn't come across the datel max media launcher and I'm glad I have now. Thanks
