Newbie, homebrew on dvd, possible?

Hi all

Probably a silly question - as I've read some of the stuff on http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Main_Page

But, is there a way of placing a homebrew app on a DVD and launching it via the normal "disc chanel", without installing the homebrew chanel at all.

Eg, the UAE wii port from http://code.google.com/p/uae-wii/ - would it be possibly to burn the binary, kickstart rom and adfs onto a dvd, then place that into a off the shelf wii and launch it as per a standard wii game?
