Help with snes9x_tyl 4.2

For some reason I can't get game genie, goldfinger, Pro Action Replay, or Raw to work. Im 99% sure that im using codes that work and that i typed them in correctly.

Here's the scoop from the official website about 90% of people are having a ton of trouble with v4.2. there are about 8-12 possible errors wich would stop you from being able to play,or use of a cirtin feature . dont know for shure but it seems like they messed up with programing around compadibillity with eloader or the memory card itself i suggest using 4.1 its alot more stable ,forget it till 4.3 will come out,trust me it would save you the trouble and has the same cool menu and all that :).

I use 4.2 and it works fine only problem i've had so far was when i load the sound starts having a echo effect but it doesn't happen much.

is there a speed increase on 4.2 though? btw im using 2.6

Cheats aren't working very well in all current builds (they've only just been implemented in the version 4.x releases). They'll probably get updated in a later release but overall they are quite a low priority compared to other functionality/fixes.
