Well, ive been looking all over he web, and trying out assorted emulators on my psp, does anyone know of a emulator that could work with my psp? lol

You need to get a CFW to play emulators on your PSP. Since you have a 1001, you can very easily mod it with one. Just get a hold of a pandora battery, a magic memory stick, and a CFW and your ready to go
