iPlayer problems

I have a great problem: My iPlayer is unstable. Since I bought it is difficult to make it work. Very often it refuses to work: when I choose it from the main menu of DSi often it hangs. The intro screen stays forever. It seems that this problem occurs when the iPlayer is hot. So I extract it from the DSi, I wait for a while, I blow on it, and - sometimes - it works again.
Somebody else have this problem? Maybe with a solution?
