View Full Version : Streets Of Rage 4 Dumped!-New BOR Mod Revelead

As you all know i have made a BOR mod called Streets Of Rage 4 for the psp. Me and members of the community have been talking and thought that this name was inappropriate because it was an update of the original Rage Of The Streets Mod. So instead of it being called Streets Of Rage 4 I have decided to call it "Rage Of The Streets PSP" as this mod is going to be made specifically for the psp. It will have full screen resolution, yes you heard it right, widescreen on the psp. Also credit will be given to axelblazeadam and shyning for the original ROTS mod. I will post some screenshots of the widescreen edition mod for the psp later on. But for now i'll tell you what i've done and what i've got left to do.

Done
Widescreen resoultion (Title screen, scenes, select player screen)

To do.
New Backgrounds.
Different font.
Weapons (Maybe-Depending on how busy i am)
New Costumes for players.

I been working on this since early 2005 - along with the original authors of Rage of the Streets (AxelBlazeAdam & Albatross) and a whole staff of people.

What exactly is your version aiming at ?

My version is aiming at the PSP and to make it full screen for the PSP. I have been talking on BOR Generation and Shyning said that it was alright to make this as long as i give credit to everyone who made the original ROTS mod which i am going to do when i release it.

Well, Shyning is part of the current RotS staff, so I guess it's okay...

Hm, perhaps we should work together on this ? I mean what's the point if we're both working on the enhancing the same game ?

Also I think you're still using the old characters and the old stages.

Why not joining us to do a PSP version of our update ?

Yeah, that definitly can be confirmed.

Also it just seems pointless to me to define a release date anymore at this time. It'll be done when it's done. Could be that we need five months or sth, could be that we will be a lot faster.

I couldn't keep up with my previous three annoucements to release a version the game - and it all turned out to be a VERY good thing in the end. We ran into new opportunities and possibilities all the time. Most of which we never even would have dreamed of before.

So I'd really say, give us the support + time we need and you'll play the best SoR of all times soon. ;)

Yeah, Bob Dylan is one of my favorite artists of all time! I got a good bunch of his records. - Not enough tho. One needs all of them !

Artists like him are a rare gift to mankind if you ask me.

Yep as Christuserloeser there has been a lot of progress. One thing i would like you all to know that the ROTS mod that has been created so far has been converted to widescreen resoultion to the PSP by me! Now we are making more stages to add to the DC and PSP version. I'll keep everyone updated. ;)
